Phase two of garden restoration at The Petwood Hotel is due to begin.

Built in 1905 the Petwood Hotel was originally used as private residence. The Grade II listed buildling complete with impressive grounds and flower gardens, is now the host to groups tours, weekend breaks and business events, providing guests with an ideal retreat.

Restoration of the gardens is well underway, with phase two set to commence in September 2016 including; the reinstatement of the Temple of Atlanta, repairing and relaying the terrace and relandscaping the entrance and car park.

The grounds themselves have always been immaculately maintained and bursts with character and history. The original features and historic ambience of the house gives a taste of nostalgia; rich in aviation hertitage.

Besides the gardens and an excellent setting for meetings, Petwood is also a great location for leisure activities. Another popular option are the team building days they host. There are numerous sites that offer outdoor pursuits and activities such as archery, shooting and orienteering, while there is also excellent fishing nearby.
